I am passionate about helping couples and individuals who are struggling to navigate the effects of life challenges, whether that is relational trauma, sexual trauma, difficulty communicating, or feelings of anxiety. I’m especially passionate about helping couples heal from the shame and unrealistic expectations that can result from religious or cultural messages about sex and intimacy. These experiences can quietly impact trust, desire, self-worth, and emotional safety long into adulthood.
As an integrative systemic therapist, I tailor the treatment of each client to their individual and relationship needs. I most often utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques and strategies to shape my practice. Additionally, I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) to help you overcome your trauma.
In therapy sessions, you can expect compassion and validation with some direct and honest feedback mixed in. I believe that meaningful change occurs when we feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you’re hoping to heal a relationship, work through trauma, or gain clarity about your next steps, I would be honored to support you in that process.
